The Evergreen Lacrosse Club is excited to have MLL All-Star and former All-American recipient of the McLaughlin Award (Nation's Top Midfielder) at Syracuse University Steven Brooks at the Evergreen Sportsplex on October 14th to work with Boys who are looking to make major advancements to their game.
The Dodge & Defend Clinic is focused on teaching players how to become successful one on one players. Whether they are at a tryout, a practice, prospect days tournaments or collegiate games, you will be put into a 1 on 1 scenario and be tasked to showcase your abilities.
This high level clinic will cover angles, techniques, intense drills and the mindset needed to be a terrific 1 on 1 player. Players will receive high level instruction from the best coaches around as well as go through live repetitions to measure how they stack up against other players.
The camp will conclude with a Top Dodger & Top Defender who will receive a prize from our friends at Under Armour Lacrosse!

About Steven Brooks
Steven Brooks is a professional lacrosse player for the Florida Launch of Major League Lacrosse. Brooks was the 6th overall draft pick in the 2008 Major League Lacrosse Collegiate Draft by the Chicago Machine. He has also played for the Chesapeake Bayhawks and currently for the Florida Launch. He has totaled 127 goals, 14 2pt goals, 53 assists and 194 points so far in his MLL Career.
Brooks played college lacrosse at Syracuse University from 2003 to 2008. He won two Division I National Championships while with the Syracuse Orange men's lacrosse, in 2004 and 2008. In 2008 Brooks was selected as a first-team All-American. during his senior season and also won the McLaughlin Award as the nation's best midfielder. He ended his college career with a total of 67 Goals, 34 Assists, and 86 Ground Balls totaling 101 points.
